“But if I move there, you will just take my piece!” she complains. “Yeah, that was kind of the point of the trap.” I respond. “I take it back, I don’t like your traps.” She says as she grabs a piece and returns it to its original position. “What if I make this move?” Some say that we aren’t playing chess properly. Some would say that it is against the rules to tell each other what your move is going to be, to allow them to take moves back, but we prefer it this way. We learn as we make mistakes and try new strategies. We have made it a hobby to go out to a coffee shop and sit for a while, enjoying a rousing game of chess or two! Materials:
