Planning our own wedding inspired us to get into the business - check out our own wedding blog post here!
When Michael asked me to not only photograph the proposal but also create a bouquet for it, I was overjoyed to get the opportunity to design one that matched the beautiful greens, blues, and reds in her dress. With the proposal set in Calistoga at a castle winery, the beautiful tones fit right in with the castle walls. The bouquet was separated into five different pieces, each one held by someone important to her as she followed the steps up to where he was waiting. Check out the proposal and engagement photos here!
Supriya asked us to design and plan her husband's 50th birthday party and their 20th anniversary party after meeting us at Ayesha's baby blessing party! So this time we set to work with a rose gold / black themed party, complete with beautiful blush florals and fun photo frames. And what a fun party it was - complete with toasts from Mohit's closest friends from each decade of his life! Not to mention, they have the cutest baby Zahn (who somehow got featured in half my photos!) ehe. I also couldn't resist taking a few styled photos before parting with them, so scroll down for more photos!
Getting to be the wedding coordinator for my dear friend (and work wife) was such a wonderful opportunity. Carolina and I had gone through the many stages of wedding planning together - from dreaming of getting engaged a year earlier to her seeing me stress out about my wedding and then vice versa. She asked me to be her wedding coordinator after seeing me stress about decor not being placed aesthetically, and trusted me to do the job. She had also taken a lot of decor off of my hands (reuse!), so I was already familiar with a lot of the decor she was bringing. And as a beginning tablescape artist, I was excited to get to be the event designer for such a dear friend.
When I got into making floral bouquets, I was so excited to see these desert flowers at our local wholesale florist. I waited patiently for an opportunity to make a desert bouquet, and was excited to get a chance to do so for a photoshoot session with one of our favorite photographers! Unfortunately, the photographer got sick, so instead we did our own photoshoot - see the photos here!
For my best friend's upcoming 23rd birthday, we just couldn't resist designing a Harry Potter-themed surprise birthday party as Fantastic Beasts had just come out! With leftover decor from our wedding, we put it all to good use recreating the magical feel of a Hogwarts feast.

Yesterday I had the honor of planning and designing my first ever official event! It was for a lovely couple who wanted to really celebrate their upcoming baby, and so invited all their close friends and family for a fun celebration complete with baby name guessing games, blessing beads, and cake sparklers. What a wonderful way to start a new season of life! |
